A Toronto-based Professional Organizer and Productivity Consultant with a talent for teaching and motivating others, Clare Kumar founded Streamlife ® in 2005. Passionate about helping people reduce stress and get more out of life, Clare realized she could marry a love of working with people, her natural creativity, and problem solving skills, with her desire to make a real difference – one life at a time.

Clare has since coached residential, small business and corporate clients in Toronto and Montreal, to get organized, to improve productivity and achieve greater peace of mind, while creating inspiring spaces in which to live and work.

A natural at process simplification, Clare has developed and refined systems to tackle routine tasks. Saving a few minutes every day is an effective way to ‘make time’. By being resourceful and creatively storing possessions to avoid clutter, she can ‘create space’.
   
Through relocating from Toronto to Tokyo, Montreal and back, Clare has become adept at preparing for and managing moves. She understands how overwhelming moves and renovations can be and is able to pave the way for a less stressful experience.

With over fifteen years in Marketing, Sales, Human Resources and Communications, both in national and international companies, Clare understands senior management concerns and how to practically support today’s workforce, especially with respect to making choices between work and personal life.

A progressive thinker, Clare encourages sustainable alternative work arrangements by helping employees and home-based entrepreneurs establish comfortable, efficient work environments and develop productive work habits.  She is a proud member of the Canadian Telework Association and an affiliate member of the Association of Canadian Ergonomists.

Clare has been featured in House & Home Magazine’s Organizing issue (2009), and quoted by CBC, the Globe and Mail and The Canadian Press as an Organizing expert.  Clare has also appeared as a guest expert on The Marilyn Denis Show, CityLine, The Steven and Chris Show, Breakfast Television (Toronto) and Downright Domestic.

Clare is a compelling speaker and has delivered engaging presentations on topics such as How to Make Your Office Work for You and Getting Organized at Home: The Source of a Smooth Day to diverse audiences. 

Clare is a Silver Leaf Member and former National Board Member of Professional Organizers in Canada (POC), Canada'a national association for organizing professionals.  She is a member of NAPO, the National Association of Professional Organizers (US based). Clare continues to develop organizing expertise via the Institute on Challenging Disorganization.

Clare is also a Canadian Certified Staging Professional (CCSP ®)
